The Tales of an A.E.R.P.
A downloadable game
Welcome to The Tales of an A.E.R.P.
In this solo game, you will travel across a strange, far away planet as a robot sent to gather data for scientific inquiry. You will follow prompts as you move and flip cards, collecting or losing information about this new world, all the while trying to maintain your condition.
To play, you will need:
- a standard deck of cards
- a token to represent you,
- something to record the two stats of data and condition, such a pencil and paper
- somewhere to play
There are two optional modes to play as well, both of which are recommended.
The Cartography mode has you draw a map as you travel. This will require something to create a map with, such as a pencil and paper, or an electronic device.
In the Story mode, you journal each step of your journey in a manner that suits you, using the prompts provided in the base game. This means you need something to journal with.
There are four versions of this game. Two printer friendly versions and two colour versions. One of each is an interactable pdf, while the other two are not.
This is a game made for the Carta jam, meaning that the base mechanics of the game fit into of the Carta SRD.
